Glass Artwork Project Portfolio
Starting in 2006, I took a class at the University Art Centre from a flyer that was in my mailbox. It was advertising a course on how stained glass was made, among other things. Naively, I believed this to be the creation of the glass itself, not the art form of taking the glass and creating panels, but not being the type to give up on things, and finding the first class interesting, I stayed for the entire course. During the course, I created my first ever piece, a small penguin. Towards the end of the course, my instructor paid me a great compliment and stated that she had never seen anyone so naturally talented and attributed it to my being an engineer.
From then on, until I graduated from the Electrical Engineering program, I spent as much of my spare time as I could soaking up the knowledge and lessons from my first mentor. Little did I know at the time that this would put me down a path that would ultimately change my life leading to the eventual creation of Moonlit Meadow Artificers, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
